Privacy Policy

Who We Are

IQ World Rank provides paid cognitive-performance pilot tests, experimental index scores, certificates, leaderboards, and analytics. The service is for entertainment, competition, and self-assessment only. It is not a clinical, medical, educational, employment, or diagnostic service.

Information We Collect

We may collect your username, age, gender category, country, city, selected test plan, payment confirmation status, test answers, experimental index score, domain scores, timing data, device type, technical logs, fraud-prevention signals, and leaderboard activity.

We do not need your legal name, government ID, medical records, Social Security number, or full payment card details for ordinary use of the service. Do not submit sensitive personal information through usernames, city fields, or support messages.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor. We should not store full card numbers, Apple Pay card credentials, or bank credentials. Payment processors may collect and process payment data under their own terms and privacy notices.

How We Use Information

We use information to unlock paid attempts, generate and score tests, save results, show leaderboards, create certificates, calculate analytics, prevent cheating, detect abuse, provide support, improve question calibration, and comply with legal obligations.

Public Leaderboards

When you submit a test, your username, estimated score, rank, age or age band, gender category, country, city, optional university, test type, and related leaderboard statistics may be displayed publicly. University entries may also be used to calculate public university averages and rankings. Do not use a username that identifies you if you do not want your score connected to your real identity.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage to remember unlocked attempts, test progress, profile details, results, and interface state. We and our providers may also use cookies or similar technologies for security, payments, analytics, advertising measurement, and fraud prevention.

TikTok Pixel and Advertising Analytics

We use the TikTok Pixel to understand visits and actions such as viewing a test option, starting checkout, confirming a purchase, beginning or completing a test, publishing a leaderboard result, and using a share control. TikTok may receive page and action metadata, browser or device information, IP-derived information, and cookie or advertising identifiers under its own privacy terms.

We do not intentionally send your username, age, gender, country, city, test answers, cognitive score, rank, Stripe Checkout session identifier, or payment-card information to TikTok through these events. You can restrict cookies or tracking through your browser and device settings, although doing so may limit advertising measurement.

Sharing Information

We may share information with service providers that help operate the site, including hosting, database, payment, analytics, security, email, and support providers. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, to prevent fraud or abuse, or during a business transfer.

Data Security

We aim to collect only what is needed, limit access, use reputable processors, and apply reasonable safeguards. No website can guarantee perfect security. Before launch, create a written security and incident-response process covering data minimization, access control, backups, breach response, and secure deletion.

Retention

We keep accountless leaderboard results for as long as needed to operate public rankings, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain records. Payment records may be kept longer where required for tax, accounting, chargeback, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.

Your Choices

You may request correction or deletion of personal information where legally required or where deletion does not undermine payment records, anti-fraud logs, leaderboard integrity, or legal obligations. Because public leaderboard entries are part of the competition record, deletion or anonymization may be handled case by case.

Children

The service is not intended for children under 13. Users under the age of majority in their country should use the service only with permission from a parent or guardian.

International Users

If users access IQ World Rank from outside the country where the service is operated, their information may be transferred to and processed in other countries with different data protection laws.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes should be posted on this page with a new effective date.
